Can companies garnish child support?
Hi,
My ex-husband is not paying all of the court ordered child support. I am in a terrible situation financially due to mistakes I have made. I have creditors on the hunt for me. He says if I take him to court to get the full amount or back child support that a. the judge will look at me as a loser and not make him give what he does now. and b. that it'll will just be garnished by the companies I owe money to. Can companies take child support??? Thank you. |

That is not true--he may jail your ex for not paying!!
Creditors normally will not get the child support. Talk to your child support enforcement office about this... |
