credit card debt
I need legal advice with this situation. My mother and I are both owners of a house in New Jersey. The house has a mortagage under both of our credit report to which payments are made every month. I have a credit card that has a balance of about US 7,000.00. I no longer live in the US. I wanted to know if I dont pay this balance to this credit card which is TD Banknorth credit card, how would this affect me as far as the house in NJ, the NJ rebate program which is given every year to homewoners, & becoming a citenzen in Domincan Republic.

Are the credit card and the mortgage with the same bank--that could be an issue in some cases.
But normally your mortgage will not be declared in default due to a credit card problem. |
