Unhappy How to proceed??

My husband lost his job and while taking the major finacial responsibility
for our household, I fell behind in payments on a personal loan from a finance company. I am currently 2 months behind on my $200.00 monthly payments. I have made payments when I could.

Today, I came home to find a letter that was left in my door (no mailing
address, just my name) from this insttitution. They came to my home! The
letter stated that my time was up and if I did not respond positively in 1
day that legal action would take place.

My husband is working now and I had every intent of catching the payments up next week. However, I am not sure how to handle this situation. I have
avoided their call because the last time I spoke with a representative of
this agency, they were extremely rude.

Please tell me how I should proceed,

They cannot do anything in one day--it takes time even to evict/foreclose, and court proceedings

It is high time you collect all your strength and remain calm in this tense situation. The reason they are rude is because they need their money back and it is clearly upto you to decide your next course of action. You can approach the court if you feel you are threatened or you can contact an NGO who can bail you out from this messy situation.Never give up faith!
