Confused My husband had a health credit card in his name only...

My husband had a health credit card in his name only. He passed away 3 yrs.ago. my income cut in half so hard to keep up. Am I legally resp. for his card, which is 27% interest, which makes it very difficult to pay off. I reside in N.Y. State.
