credit card debt: we are unable to pay a credit card

I'm sorry to see so many people are having the same problems we are. But I was wondering... our income has went down alot! and we are unable to pay a credit card which now calls 1000000000 times a day. If I send them anything, even $10 a month will they have to stop calling or not?

But they said they are going to turn me over to a collection agency at the end of the month if I can't pay $400. If I pay anything would that stop the action? Or will they still turn it over?

"they can still call and try to collect" i am agree with you . but you can get help debt advice company that providing free debt advice service.

I have an emergency situation where i need to get $1000 fast for my car to
be repaired. I need the money fast but I still want to not get screwed over.
My friend suggested an online site that he used before and I looked it over and it looks ok, but I am not sure
what is a reasonable rate for a payday loan. Is there a standard for this
type of loan? Also does a payday loan effect your credit?
