Seizing car and furniture in Ohio

In Ohio can collections agencies or a court force the sale of a 1999 car and furniture about 10 years old? My ex husband ran up $40,000 on joint accounts and even opened some in my name and ran them up too prior to 1994. Nothing has been paid since 1994. I am now divorced for about 4 years and only source of income is a social security check.
None of these debts show up on my credit reports but collection agencies keep ding ing the report every month for 2 years now.
I keep recieving collection agency letters every couple of months.
I cannot pay anything as I barely can live on my s.s.check.
I am making small $79 a month car apyments

Normally you would be able to keep those limited items.
