Angry Hot Check Question

Three weeks ago my husband fixed a washing machine for a Rev in our town so it would not cost him a arm and a leg. We just found out that he wrote this check on a closed account. Since it was not wrote to a business but to hubby do I have any recourse? It was part of our rent money.

Default Re: Hot Check Question

Yes--file a police report and file in small claims.

The closed check account makes it a crime as well.
