Direct TV stoled from me

Hello guys, my situation is really working my nerves. I had paid my cable bill which was $60.00 back in December 2006. My cable company is Direct TV. I paid it online with my visa checking card and a few days later it was taken out of my bank account. The problem was that is was never posted to my Direct TV account. I called costumer service at least 10 times to resolve this matter and they have been telling me to call this number call that number fax this and fax that. I did all those things and still nothing has been done. The manager from the bank gave me a certified copy of my statement showing that the money was withdrawn by Direct TV, she even signed it and still Direct TV is acting like they never received it. To make the situation worse, they actually had the nerve to put me in a collection agency for that money!!!!! Please help me.

Based on what you say here, you could file suit against them (or at least threaten to do so) in small claims court or in regular court; filing in small claims court is easier and requires no attorney...you could try to collect all of the costs and damages that you suffered due to their behavior... You may also report them to your state attorney general's office.

Thank you Law 200, I will certainly give them a call. I will not stop until something is done. : )
