International Debt Collection - Europe, USA
Hello,
My husband's ex-wife (9 years divorced) in Europe has accumulated incredible debt. She is now claiming my husband is responsible for it. (My husband is an American citizen) 12 years ago when my husband was still married to his ex-wife they had a separation of assets and libabilities agreement made up and signed in court. He is therefore legally not responsible for any of her debts which she incurred since that time (which is 100% of her debt). She has given her creditors my husband's name and address here in the U.S. Is there anyway they can enforce their collections? thank you, |
