Hi
I am curious about the legal aspect of collections from debt collectors. Are they allowed to call your workplace and request information on your status and pay schedule. I am having some difficulty paying some check advances off and they are calling daily even though I am not supposed to have personal phone calls at work. (they have my home number) Can they garnish my wages without a court order. I have not been taken to court on anything and am making arrangements but they are still calling even though I have told them not to call my work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |
