im getting garnishments taken out of my work check and they got all there money but they are still taking money out what should i do ?

Hi there. Sorry for your circumstances. What you have described here is certainly not unheard of. Garnishment cases can get a bit tricky because the creditor obtains the order and then the employer is bound to follow it. Sometimes the employer would like to stop deducting but they cannot do so until so directed by the Court. If you can prove you owe no more monies, it may well be a simple matter to file the appropriate motion to cease the garnishments. The procedure is governed by state law, however, so your best option would be to confer with a local attorney.
