Being Served
I'm from Michigan and in quite a jam,all my fault,and am in need of some advice.I'm currently enrolled in a debt relief program,Debt Remedy Solutions who advised me to stop paying my creditors,and had a process server attempt to serve me a summons to appear in court on one of my outstanding debts.Debt Remedy Solutions can't offer me any legal advice so here I am.What should I expect when: I'm finally served and I appear in court? Someone please help,this is driving me crazy.

You will have to file an answer and then appear in court.
You might have some defenses you can argue at that point... |
