UK debt
Hi, wondering if you can help. I urgently need advice on whether a uk credit card debt (around three thousand pounds) can be enforced/pursued in Australia. It is solely in my husband's name & I was unaware of it until receiving a letter before action. Now reside in Oz & I am worried, firstly, because it is not my debt, and secondly, I have a young son to take care of. I have tried Australian law sites but no joy. English sites seem more helpful but unsure if under jurisdiction & can be enforced. Urgent advice would be gratefully received.
