I was married for 4 years during that marriage we accumulated credit debt from two stores in which the accounts were established in my name alone. In the divorce decree my ex-husband failed to list the property acquired from these debts as his since he has the property in his possession. So later he and I signed a notarized affidavit stating that he is the responsible party for these debts and to have the information removed from my report. I have forwarded this affidavit to all three credit bureaus and the creditors yet the derrogatory information remains on my credit report. My question is, with this signed affidavit is there any way to have this information removed from my report.
