towing bill
I sold my car at a auction but did not know I should let the DMV know I sold my car.It seems the new buyer did not change the title and many months later, I received a 350.00 towing bill from a collection agency. The collection agency is playing hard ball and says my bill of sale is not important because my name was on the title at the time of towing and it was my fault for not informing the DMV.They are saying they will damage my credit rating if I dont pay. What advise can you give me. Thank You Linda
