Associated Bank Stole my Rent

Hi,
I logged into my bank account this AM and found that Associated Bank had taken over $1,100 from the checking account and applied it to a loan I have with them which is in arrears. It does not say on the loan part of the site that any money was applied, but the balance owed was reduced by half. I never authorized a deduction from my account and they left me with $2.77 in my account and rent due on Friday.

If they were to get a court order to garnish my wages, it is my understanding that they can only take enough to leave me at minumum wage. So how can they steal an entire month's wages from me without so much as a notification?? I will be evicted with no place to go and forced to quit my job in less than a week over this. How can this be legal? I have no family in town and all of my family is strapped for cash. There is no one to borrow from and Direct Deposit is required by my company. I can't have direct deposit, however, if I'm working and can't afford groceries or rent. Thank you in advance for your rapid response.
