Summons on Defaulted Unsecured Loan

Hello,

I a permanently disabled and live on a very limited income. I have defaulted on an unsecured loan from Citifinancial as I am unable to afford payments. My monthly necessary living expenses are more than I receive from disability. I received a summons today stating that Citifinancial is taking me to court, suing for $6,500.00. I do own my house and a 10 year old car, no loans outstanding on either of them. I also have the furnishings in my home. I do not have any money in any bank accounts. Other than that I have no other assets. If the court orders a judgement against me what can Citifinancial do to me? I reside in the state of Tennessee.

Make sure you do respond to the court hearing. Don't just default.
