way to see what was purchased?

I had several credit cards back in 2001 and lost job 2004 and sent the cards back to the vendor but know all of a sudden they are claiming that I owe all this money. My credit history is in shambles cause of this after sending them back i never received a bill of any charges that i owed know that stating i owe over 20, is there a way to see what was purchased i cant account for all of this debt against me. i know i have credits cards know that i buy merchandise and get a bill every month for purchase items.

You can ask to see the entire bill history. They have to provide it at some point if they think they have a case to take to court. Most will want you to see it agree.
