lawyer harassment over debt

I was recently threatened with a court summons for non-payment of an invoice which I contested as the company didn\'t provide the service they agreed to. They eventually settled, but not before their appointed legal firm sent out the summons threat to every address they could get their hands on including my accountant, my tenants, my parents and a friend. They also called my parents house (I never gave them this number) even though they have my mobile which they\'ve also called, and the lawyer is particularly aggressive, even my mother commented on it. Is this harassment?

Yah of course it's harassment, a strategy lawyers usually employ to intimidate people to give in to their demands or to their client's demands, but it should be limited to that point and not beyond.

It's good that they settled given that you were upset wasting your time of their failed service. In case you have future inquiries about these things or in the debt management matters, you would need a debt counselor to manage debts or credits in a timely and effective matter.
