old landlord going through a collection agent/this was completed in court 5 years ago
ok this is from 2005 and i just recived a letter in the mail stating a attorney was trying to collection a debt from 2005 witch went through the court system and my wages was garnished for 18 months and today i recived a letter in mail from a lawer office there trying to collect this back rent again how can this be possible when its been over for 4 years now can anyone help me with this

They cannot do that if you fully paid your obligation. Show proof it was paid and the lawyer will drop it; if he does not, show the judge.
