I have a civil judgment against me...for classes that were NEVER taken at a university...the interest keeps piling up and up...and I literally refuse to make any kind of arrangement when they keep taking my state returns.
I am not working at the moment...and was wondering what the minimum amount I can get away with paying would be, once I have a job...making an arrangement is out of the question and I was thinking of paying $1.oo per month...I need to know legally...if this would keep them from garnishing my wages...?Also, does the amount garnished, depend on what you are making...?...it seems to me that this would be the case. |

What state?
What type of loan and with what financial institution? Why was the money not returned when you did not take the classes? Where is the borrowed money today? |
