Judgement

I have a judgement against me since 2005 from a debt that I am uncertain how old it even is. This debt was incurred with my maiden name. I am currently married but have nothing in my name. I don't even have a checking or savings account. Today I got a writ of garnishment but how can they garnish a job I don't have, property that's not in my name, or a checking account I don't own. I have no way to pay back this judgement and yet the interest charges alone keep adding up to triple the original debt. Can they come after my husband? How can I get this to finally go away. Can they keep adding interest? I can't give what I don't have. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. This is from Oregon.

They cannot really collect if you have no assets or a job.

But it will keep accruing interest. Bankruptcy also eliminates all judgments and other claims against you.
