Mom being sued unpaid hospital bills
Mom from Pa. My mom was served papers three days ago. We are trying to get legal aid in or state to help with what to do. On the law suit we owe $ 16,486.50 plus interest that comes to $ 1,483.79. On the affidavit that the hospital gave it said she owes $ 14,286.50 which one is right. the law suit is dated 3/11/09 and the affidavit is dated 11/4/08. when and if we go to court to we have to pay in full or can we ask for payment plan. with are income less then are out going income it is hard.

You can always try to negotiate a payment plan. Or you could threaten bankruptcy if they try to push you too hard. |
