Confused Can I be held liable for this debt after divorce and husband filing bankruptcy?

I am getting collections calls from an agency for medical bills for couseling for my 2 daughters. I did not work, my husband was the working person and had the insurance in his name. We are in the process of divorce and yet they direct the bills to me, maybe because I brought them to the doctors but, I had done that all the kids life and never got a medical bill in my name. He is going to file bankruptcy this month and again, we are in the process of a divorce. Can I be held liable for these bills.

If you did not sign you normally are not liable unless you live in a community property state; in some cases then you could still be liable since you are married.

The divorce agreement should make clear who is to pay that. Make sure the issue is addressed.
