Default Attorney for emergency room visit problem

I am in Oklahoma and I had to go to the emergency room about a year ago and during that time I was newly single and going through not only divorce and trying to get on my own feet but a custody battle as well. Even so I paid at least $15.00 each month on this $3000. + debt. Each month as I could I would increase the amount I paid. I have now been paying $50-$100. per month for the last 5 or so months. The last two months these attorneys send me a letter stating my partial payment is not satisfactory for resolution of the above account. Their client is entitled to payment in full. Send full balance to ouir office within three days. They do infact cash my checks every month before sending me these types of letters. Is there anything I can do? I would think they would be greatful I am paying anything at all since there are so many that do not even try to pay this sort of thing. I am doing the best I can but I am tempted to reduce my payments back down to $15.00 per month just to spite!

Thank you for your input,

Toni L.

Default Re: Attorney for emergency room visit problem

They can sue even if you make payments.

But often they will not do so due to costs.

If they do proceed, email world law and they will help you resolve.
