Collection Agency has frozen checking account

My wife has a collection account with a court order - I would like to know
if there's something that I could do in order un "unfreeze" my checking account since this is a joint account with both name on it. Thank You

If you have a judgment against you it will be difficult until you pay.

You can ask the judge to intervene if an error has occurred.

Avoid any bank account in your name if you have a judgment outstanding.

To freeze account, You must of had 1st notice to take you to court by attorney. No credit company can freeze account. They just call and ask for money is all they can do. No credit company can call you a name, or insult you either. Somewhere down line though, A lawyer had to contact you by mail or call. usally registered mail. so if its gone this far, court levied freeze on you. My only advise, go to credit repair, Usally most will settle pennies on dollors for you.
