Unhappy BANKRUPTCY @ JUDGEMENT / please help !
I have a hearing comming up soon re: a vehicle that I had repossessed nearly
4 years ago. The collection co lawyers are sueing for balence of loan,intrest & atty.fees . The amt is more then the car was actually worth. The stature of limitations may apply here but Im not sure.
If judgement goes against me can I file for bankruptcy afterwards ?
I have no assets or property to dispose of and have limited income.
I cant afford legal council but I am seeking a atty for a consult that may take
payments if bankruptcy is the answer. Can you pleas offer some advice so I can sleep at night !
