credit card debt
If judgement comes against me thru the court on a credit card debt can my ssi and or retirement be taken? I live in Kansas and Cap 1 is suing. I do not own any propert other than an older car. Thank you!

SSI is normally exempt as are your retirement fund accounts.
But check with our own lawyer as to your own circumstances. |

Commercial creditors cannot garnish your Social Security retirement check.
