Confused SBC yellow page fraud

I am currently in court with sbc/ ameritechs atty. they are trying to put a judment against me for 24k. I took out an ad to start a business and their ad did not work. I canceled the ad 7 mo into contract. now they are trying to have me pay the whole amount. I was pressured to sign the contract and lied to about their services and they mis represented their services. I have been in court and the judge and sbcs atty have been talking off court time regarding this. sbcs atty is now filing a motion for summary judgment. After I stated the facts that their is a question of sbc business pratices they are trying to force a summury judment. I put down 4400.00 on the ad recieved 3 jobs from it the entire year, I never recovered the 4400 I put down. They used their phone number to track the calls I had recieved from the ad, It was false each month stating I recieved between 200-800 calls per month. If that was the case I would have made lots of $$ to pay their ad.

Please HELP I can not afford an atty after quiting my job for this wonderful yellow pages ad that I quote was to grow my business 10 fold. and It would be a big mistake to not go ahead with it,,, the rep from sbc stated.

What should I do after they file a summury judgment? can I file a motion for definitive statements or request a motion for dismisal for say misrepresenting their product.

I am not trying to get out of paying, I feel I did not get my moneys worth and not I have to pay for something that never worked..

You are going to have to show they misled you, lied or made some kind of guarantee.

Otherwise the court may just say you took your chance when you bought the ad.

World Law's lawyers might also be able to intervene and help resolve this if need be. You may email them on the home page.
