Help with Collection Agency

Hello.

I really dont know what to do anymore. I got a payday loan but my check was late getting to me. so I called and told them. they immediately sent it to collections. When I got the loan the VOIDED the check in front of me and my husband. Since I was sent to collections they DEBITED my checking account directly over drawing my account and cleaning out my savings account. Now I have collections calling me 3 times a day on my house phone and 3 times a day on my cell phone. I have followed their instructions and faxed proof of the transaction to them not once but 3 times! Yesterday they call and I ask for Supervisor and I get one. but he starts getting rude with me. he finds the fax with my bank letter head on it and tells me IT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!! that he wants to see the balance of my own personal checking account. can they continue to harrass me once they recieved proof? and can they ask for such personal information? please help me. even after I do waht they ask they still call even after being told to stop the calls. today they called and they guy hung up on me and turned around and called my home!
