I recently received a document from a law firm representing a creditor.
It stated that they were beginning \"garnishment procedures\" with my local court. How should the situation be handled? Thank you for your assistance. They have to sue you first and serve you court documents. You then have 30 days to respond normally. Often they will not actually file
