Hi, I am a self employed transcriber. My "employer" has not paid me since Dec. 07. Her last email to us was that the checks were being fed-exed. That was 7 days ago. What is my recourse? She only owes me $300. but others a lot more. I am trying to be understanding. she has had some health problems. Help!
Thanks Bygrace |

Based on what you say here, you could file suit against her (or at least threaten to do so) in small claims court or in regular court; filing in small claims court is easier and requires no attorney...you could try to collect all of the costs and damages that you suffered due to her behavior...
