Can Someone Be Unaware of a Lien? HELP!!!
We Own? an ATV that we've been waiting on the title for from a family member for quite a while - now that we're ready to sell it I've done a little research and found it doesn't have a clear title - their is a lien on it! We have not shared this information with him yet, we're trying to get more information first.
Can he be unaware that there is a lien on an ATV that is not in his possession but the title is in his name? I feel like we're hiding property! I'm a little worried! Please Help! Thanks! |

He may think it was paid, or may have failed to get a lien release etc. Ask him to explain.
