Confused How many times can a judgment be filed for the same debt

7 years ago coming this June, a credit card judgment against me will fall off my credit report. The original debt has been sold many times to different attorney's offices trying to collect. Today I received a notice of lawsuit/judgment from the latest debt collector. How many times can a person be sued, have a judgment filed against them for the same debt? I cannot pay the sum owed and am currently unemployed. Will this new judgment go on my credit record?

You can only be sued once normally.

--but different collectors can try to collect on the debt until the statute of limitations expires.

Thank you so much. I was hoping that was the case. I think their new suit is a scare tactic since they know the original judgment will fall off my report in three months. Thanks again.

Confused Bankruptcy and vehicle repossession

My vehicle was repossessed today (I called the bank to pick it up). I'm filing for bankruptcy and want to know if the unpaid vehicle debt will be a part of the bankruptcy debt.

Thank you very much. Under what circumstances would it not become part of the bankruptcy?
