medical product liability" or Medical Malpractice or Both"?

I am a 42 yr old woman,whom has undergone 3 very serious back operations,My 1st surgery was done when I was only 22. I Trusted the same Surgeon with all 3 of the surgeries. To make this long story short,after my 3rd surgery in 2005,Now I have been told that the titanium steel cage that has been drilled into my spine is now Broken!!
When my husband asked why this broke because, Titanium Steel is practially unbreakable 'my Surgeon replied "that it just must of been a Faulty Part (cage) and that he would still feel comfortable in using this same product again" on Other Patients as Myself!!
So my question is' Is this what would be considered a medical product liability" or Medical Malpractice or Both"?
There is nothing else that can be done for me to treat this . I am 100% Dissabled due to this happening and I will suffer the rest of my Life for it,as I said Im 42 yrs old and I cant pick up anything heavier than a cup of coffee for the rest of my Life...
I have done some research on my own and it seems that this surgeon has left the area of his Practice where I had all of my Surgeries and he has Relocated in a town about 150 miles away,and He is still Practicing Today there. Also in my research I found The Dr has several Malpractice Suites pending and even 1 Wrongful Death Suite that Im aware of.
I hope someone has some advise for me ,or better yet that a Lawyer views this and contacts me...
I have never posted anything like this before, but I am hoping it may help someone else from having this Medical Product Used on Them,and them then ending up as myself or Even Worst Happening, and that keeping someone from being treated by this Certain Surgeon as well.
I just know I have to pay for this, the rest of my Life,and the constant Battle I have with this Medical Product Being Broken Inside of my Spine...
Open for any and all Suggestions Espically replies from a Good Attorney,Im wanting some legal advise on this,I feel as if I deserve some Justice here Now.
