Question Do drug product liability attorneys use the FDA's MedWatch data?

Hi, I have a general question for any DRUG product liability attorneys out there.

I'm curious to know whether prosecuting attorneys use (in any way) the MedWatch adverse event reports that are submitted to the FDA from conumers and health-care practitioners

If they are used by attorneys, how are they used?...and is there any need to be able to mine these documents (I've built a searchable database of MedWatch/AERS reports and so I am curious to know if there is a need to search this information in the legal world)?

Thanks for any info!
