A friend of mine has a 16 year old daughter that has a boyfriend who is in his early 20's. She's divorced with custody and is worried that she could be brought up on charges considering: 1) She knew they were having sex for over a year and didn't do anything about it. 2) She welcomed him into her home knowing what they were doing. 3) She had taken off one night upset leaving the two of them alone for a few hours. 4) She's also worried that recently she took off mad at said child and said child was currently running a 103 degree fever and was alone for a few hours. She is wondering what charges could be brought up against her. She's thinking negligence, contributing to the sexual delinquincy of a minor (Since she knew about it)and child endangerment. She's not sure what else they could get her for if any.

Well frankly she does have some issues there.
She should not have knowingly allowed that to occur...it was not legal. |
