Forgery & Fraud

I need help....I found that my name was forged on documents that supposedly turned ownership of my home over to another person. I have copies of the forgeries and the same group of people originally scammed me out of $70,000 and used the info obtained to commit the forgery and obtain a mortgage on my home. They are in arrears in the payments and in danger of foreclosing. I've made MY mortgage payments. I filed a police report and contacted the mortgage company 8 months ago. I continuelly try to find out what is going on, but I can't get any answers. These people are still operating in my community!!

What have the police said...you may want to have legal counsel check as well to see what is the status and/or to move it along.

Or perhaps just be persistent until you get an answer.
