stolen identity

Someone using my name and DOB was ticketed for posession of marijuana, and a warrant was issued for failure to appear in court. When I found out, I went to court and plead not guilty and was assigned a public defender and a court date. I want to obtain some kind of evidence that it wasn't me. Maybe I could get a copy of the ticket 'she' signed promising to appear in court? How do I go about that? How does it work with a public defender? Will he/she contact me before the court date? I've never been in trouble with the law before...

If it was not you that signed let the police know that asap and make sure you get copies of all evidence in advance

don't rely on the public defender to do that--get a specific commitment, do it yourself, or hire a lawyer.

i applied for a job they did not do a back ground check they said they got in touch with baltimore city circut court, and that i had a felony i did a back ground check and got finger printed it came up clean so how did the circut court say i had a felony i know nothing about this i was never charge of this what can i do to clear my name with the circut court because my back ground check was clean.
