Is a peace bond and probation the same thing? "confused" (Alberta, Canada)
I am on probation, with conditions. On my pink sheet with conditons, at the top of the sheet, it says "Recognizance Engagement".
I was told when I signed this sheet that I am on peace bond, but have to report to a probation Officer. My question: Are these the same thing? My PO said he has no knowledge if the peace bond would be breached, he has only information on the probation conditions. |

they are the same thing but on a peace bond you wont get a record. your probation officer is also a dumb a**!!!
