please read and answer if you can...
Back in October 2006 I was arrested for posession of drug paraphanelia. I got arrested and sent to county jail where I swallowed cocaine and immediatly went into a seisure. I was transfered to the hospital via airlife. After being released from the hospital, i moved here to Minnesota and decided that i was tired of the drug life and I wanted to clean up my act. 15 months later, i continue to be sober and drug- free. I just had some questions that i do not know the answers to. Can the doctors in the hospital turn over the drugs to the police department? I was told that they were not suppose to do that. I dont know... Another question is, i have never been on probation or parole or anything like that. I basically have never been in trouble for drugs. What are the consequences for posession of a controlled substance (less than a gram of cocaine)? Will i be looking at doing time? or will i get probation? And my last question is, can my case be transfered to Minnesota? I do not have the money to go back down there to take care of this matter. I am working now, and leading my life in the right direction and would like to get this charge cleared. Please help me with what ever information you can.

They can give the drugs.
Hire counsel to try to keep this off your record/ It is not likely you can transfer it--you will have to handle it there--but do hire a lawyer! |
