Restraining Order... or not...

Ok… so I have this incident where my bf and I kinda got “caught” having sex… I’m 20 and he’s 17 (but he turns 18 in less than two months… from the time “it” happened). His dad finds out and freaks (it’s completely mutual between both of us, no one forced the other into doing this) and goes to the police. Files a report and says not to contact his son until he’s 18. Well nothing happens about the report because he’s so close to being 18. But, can they still say that we can’t even talk to each other until he’s 18? There was no restraining order issued or anything.

Please let me know, all help greatly appreciated.

The parents can demand it until he is 18 yes. Or a court could even order it if you push the issue with them.
