debit card numbers stolen
Hi can anyone tell me what will come of this 2 months ago my friend loned me £100 as payment towards my first months rent.
I said i will pay back when i can. By this time i had paid back £80 and i trusted him and I gave him my debit card to buy me something on the internet he new my email address and password. 3 weeks later i got a bank statement and £150 had been spent for goods from Tesco in my name and delivered to his home address. My bank as given me the money back and changed my debit card but what will happen to the guy i gave my debit card to, he admitted to me he did it because i owed him money and was sick of waiting. |

He could be charged with theft if he took more than was owed you.
