Confused Can multiple pre-trial motions be filed...

A pre-trial motion to supress evidence by reason of illegal search is heard and denied by the court. Can later another pre-trial motion to supress evidence be filed and heard for different reason?

For that matter, is there any limit to the number of pre-trial motions that can be put before the court?
