Unhappy falsley accused of misdemeanors

I was recently down in las vegas and was arrested for aparently obstructing a p.o. and disorderly conduct but i was not doing any of the above and was treated as a vicious criminal my rights have been sadly overlooked here and i was also verbally harrassed by the two arresting police officers and physically roughed up and have proof of the brutallity they used against me for the apparent misdemeanors my court date is november 19th 20007 and i would like to know what i can do to get the charges dismissed or at least stayed or what ever you want to term it as i believe i have enough evidence to start a civil suit against the officers and the jail guards.... if you can give me any advice in what is going to happen at the court date and what i can do to start the process and get this concluded in one court date as i am wanting to prepare a statement and submit the evidence i have of the brutality that i was enduring is this a good way to go????

sincerely

Default falsley accused of misdemeanors

It is a rather lengthy topic but I will try to make it as short as I can

I was recently in las vegas on holiday and was arrested apparently for disorderly conduct misdemeanor and obstructing a P.O misdemeanor and at the time of arrest the police officer's did not ask for identification from me nor did they tell me what I was being arrested for further more they continually tried to coerse me into admitting something that I did not do but I kept to my guns and repeated to them every time they tried to intimidate me that I had done nothing wrong and I will not admit to anything i did not do they continually tried to physically coerse me into becomng violent and belligerent but to no avail so when I would not succum to there badgering and coersing they threw me in the back of a wagon and took me to the station where the harassment contiued I was not able to make a phone call as I had no money or did not know any pone numbers and the phone systems would not allow me to make a collect call to canada so I was denied that priviledge and when I asked if I could make a phone call they told me the phones are right there when I told them that I could not make a collect call to canada or to someone i know they simply said oh boo hoo you are not in canada anymore and were unsympathetic to my issue further more the same guard would walk around the jail and sing oh miss canada at the top of his lungs!!!

I am from Canada and the arresting officers found this quite entertaining eh!!!!! and were quite jovial at my expense this would have been endurable but the things they were saying were wrong and very degrading...I have a really great sense of humour and quite dry and gutterish as I have spent most of my young life as a bar worker so I can take most anything anyone can dish out but this was just a bit much under these circumstances and the fact that the harassment and juvenile behavior came from officer's of the law was apalling!!!! no matter what country you are from no one in that position of authority should ever have that much power over any one individual!!!!!

anyhow my query is that I really need some info on what can happen and what will happen and what I can do .I am planning to get a few witness statements and I have proof of physical brutality and I have arranged to get a character letter done and I have written a statement of the events that occured that evening I would also like to put out a letter requesting the judge to help me get the bill from the restaurant that we were at that we not able to pay , so that I can be sure it is the proper bill and that the tip goes to the proper waitress as she lost out that evening because of the events that occured and alos to avoid any further confrontation or missunderstandings from the establishment.... can I submit these as evidence at the first court appearance?? or do I need to do it at the trial ??? I am not guilty of these crimes and am planning on pleading not guilty no matter what I will not under any surcumstances admit to something I have not done !!!!

sincerely wrongly accused!!!

Default Re: falsley accused of misdemeanors

You can hire a good lawyer to document all of that and fight it!!

But be prepared to shell out some cash!

My brother won a similar battle,
