Teenager in huge trouble
My 17 year old daughter slashed another girls tires at school. The other girl involved has been saying extremely damaging things about my daughter at school. She tried to talk to the principle but he wouldn't do anything about the statements. What she did was extremely wrong and yes I feel she should be punished hopefully, learn a lesson never to repeat anything like this again. The damages are going to exceed 500.00 and I am afraid she will charged with a felony. I want her to learn a lesson, not have this haunt her for the rest of her life. If the other girls parents agree not to press charges if my daughter pays for the damages can the county attorney press charges? As a parent can I do anything to help her take responsibilty for her actions, pay for damages, learn a lesson and avoid a felony charge?
Please any advise would be welcomed |

He still can yes.
But usually with minors this will be resolved one way or another to protect her record. |
