lessening a charge?
Is it possible to have a felony charge lessened?
10 years ago my husband's ex-wife was turned in for child neglect against their daughter. My husband was in the Navy and out to sea when she was turned in. His lawyer at the time said that the California law charges both parents with neglect no matter what and he just needed to plead guilty otherwise there would be all these activist groups out against him and it would result in him going to prison. He has been raising his daughter with his parents and now that we are married and very stable we've been asking around on how he can get her back, leagally. I know that the felony charge is holding him back. Is it possible to have it reduced in some way? |

That is not true if he was out to sea.
You need to get another criminal law lawyer to review the entire matter and outline options, IMHO! |
