Default Possible Statutory rape

What state do I live in? OHIO

To make a long story short, I am 19 and I had sexual relations twice with a girl who told me she was 19 before we even met (via text messaging), but now that I've told her I no longer want to see her, possibly out of anger, is telling me she is 15 and that she can have me sent to jail.

Honestly, when I seen her I never doubted she was 19, she smoked, had a cell phone, dyed hair, and a fairly large purse. Now that I think about it, being 15 is really pushing it for her build and everything, she could be as young as 16 MAYBE but more like 17, but 15 though? I doubt, but I know it could be possible.

I haven't seen any Cops come looking for me yet (been a 2 days since she claimed she was 15) but it's worrying me and I really don't have any personal lawyer to turn so I decided to ask here.

I feel like since I've heard of people coming forward YEARS after they've been raped, and stuff similar to that, I feel like this could hang over my head forever because she could wake up one morning and decide to tell her mom and then mom panics and calls the cops or the girl could call them herself...

Should I be worried? What can I do to protect myself? And for the record that very text message where she told me her age is gone, that conversation was like... early last month. But if Verizon logs text messages they may have it.

Thank you advance!

Well if she was underage she could make an issue of it. But don't be pulled into being blackmailed as well. What has happened has happened. Hopefully she is not being truthful now. If it gets worse, email wld privately from the private home page web form and they will help further...click home at the top of this page--

Statutory rape is a bright-line statute with no defense against established guilt. She can say she's 29, look 29, act like 29, get picked up in a bar, show you an ID that says she's 29, and have a signed confession from the pope saying that she's 29 and consented. If she's under the age of consent, you're guilty.

Ohio state law section 2907.04 says it's illegal for a person over 18 to have sex with a person between the ages of 13 and 16. Sentencing is 6-18 months, or if you are less than four years older, a $1000 fine. I'm not sure whether or not Ohio has some version of Megan's Law requiring you to file as a sex offender if found guilty.
