disability pending and probation fees

i am on probation for a dui in tennessee. i have filed for my soc disability and have not been pushed to pay any probation fees by my old probation officer. todayi had a new officer and he said i have to catch up my probation fees. i told him i was still waiting on an appeal for my disability and he said i had to pay or get a doctor to say i can not work. i have no ins and do not have a dr.ican not work due to mental and physical problems thats why i have filed for soc dis. can he force me to pay probation fees if i am waiting on a dis soc decision? please help!! thanks , ibmoongazer@bellsouth.net

You could ask him to provide access to a the jail doctor or recommend a low cost doctor. He should help you arrange that if he wants that DR letter from you.
