Confused stealing from checking account

I had unauthorized withdrawls from my checking account. I called the police notified bank, etc. Then I found out that my 19 year old daughter had done it. I am wondering what to do. I want her to have consequences but is she facing jailtime?

Default Re: stealing from checking account

She would be yes. You need to resolve that internally immediately or let the criminal justice system do so.

Once they are deeply involved it will be hard to undo it.
